Welcome to Ripponden J&I School’s Website. I hope you find all of the information useful and that any questions you have are answered – if not please get in touch!
I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of this wonderful school; a school at the heart of the community with a dedicated, hardworking staff team, enthusiastic, bright and bubbly children and supportive families.
Our ethos, centred around our ‘Branch Out’ philosophies and strap line of ‘Challenge and Enjoyment Leading to Excellence for All’ embodies all that we do – we have high expectations of all of our children and strive to help them fulfil their maximum potential.
I believe that primary school is such a special time in our lives and I want all of our children to look back at their time here at Ripponden with great fondness and amazing memories. We deliver a high quality, broad and balanced curriculum with many opportunities to develop the whole child, not just in the academic sense, but also with sporting, musical and extra-curricular activities.
