School Meals

We cook all of our meals fresh on site, with locally sourced meat, fruit and vegetables. All meals include either salad or vegetables and water is always available. 

 

Our meals are prepared and cooked by our experienced and friendly catering team. Special diets can be catered for and vegetarian options are always available. 

 

Every day there are 2 options for dinners, including a vegetarian option. There are also jacket potatoes and/or sandwiches and wraps on offer.

We ensure that we meet the school food standards at all times and pride ourselves on home cooked food, sourced from local suppliers.

We phase our sittings for lunch. Reception come in first to the hall at 11.45am, followed by Key Stage 1 and 2 who are all served in the hall. 

 

Our meals represent excellent value for money. They are £2.50 per meal (£12.50 per week). All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal as part of the governments ‘Universal Free School Meal’ initiative. 

 

All children are encouraged to have a school meal, but if parents prefer, a healthy packed lunch can be brought.

If you choose for your child to bring a packed lunch into school, please remember that due to severe allergies present in school, no nuts are allowed, this includes some chocolate spreads, including Nutella.
